Marble Chocolate Cheesecake

This marble chocolate cheesecake is a special bake for my sister’s family, they love the green tea cheesecake and mixed berries cheesecake which I baked previously. I’m using the previous recipe. This round I used 2 tsp of cocoa powder and mixed it with 5 tbsp of batter to make the chocolate swirl.

Recipe day!

I thought long and hard about the first recipe I wanted to post (not really). :) I wanted it to be healthy, of course, but tasty. And quick. Since I’m not really a fan of cooking, quick is good. This is the Green Monster Smoothie (picture from skinnytaste.com) In a blender, add: 4 cups baby spinach

Monterey Chicken {Chili’s Copycat recipe}

Cheese. Chicken. Bacon. Barbecue Sauce. You know it’s gonna be good. Unfortunately, I took the pics when I was in a huge rush to get the kids out the door to volleyball practice, and the lighting was terrible, soooo….don’t judge the recipe by the picture! This blob of cheesiness was pretty darn ta

Buttermilk Chiffon Cake with Key Lime Curd

I had an awful lot of buttermilk and egg whites left over from the Baseball and Princess parties we did recently. I wanted to find a way to use them up. I found this recipe, and adapted it a little to my understanding of the foaming method. Looking in the store for inspiration, I saw that key limes
